2013 Favorites: Cheeks

Cheeks

NARS Laguna Bronzer
Everyone I talk to about this product loves it. Whats not to love anyway? Its a beautiful bronzer that when you apply it, theres not to much and theres not to little. Its a matte texture, but theres also a bit of sparkle.

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish
I kinda used this as a bronzer for a while... which made me look like a fairy, but I didn't really care. I loved the color on my cheeks and the tons of sparkle. I don't use it as much now, but when I want a bit of sparkle I apple a generous amount on my cheeks.

2013 Favorites: Lips

Glosses

Dior Lip Glow
The ultimate pink lipgloss. Doesn't matter if you have light, medium, or dark skin, it matches every skin tone. So much love.

Laura Mercier Lip Glace in Bare Pink
Not only does it smell good, but it looks beautiful on. Its the perfect nude gloss for any season.

Buxom Full-On Lip Polish in Dolly
First off, the Buxom lip polish collection has beautiful colors and it was very hard to pick my favorite one. Whats not to love about these lip glosses? They're tingly, super glossy, and smell incredible.

Week #3

The Week in Instagram @Back2Blanc & @Shes_LeesFall Nail Polishes// Random Selfie w/ my new NARS Matte Lipstick//Alexa Chung's book "IT" and a repurchase of my MAC Foundation// Early Birthday Michele Watch
The Week in B2B Posts: Winter Polishes
Product Pick of the Week: My Bobbi Brown Face Touch Up Stick is literally the best! I use it everyday, before I put on my foundation. It hides all redness, pimples, anything that you don't want people to see on your face. It has a creamy, thick texture that helps cover those pesky blemishes.
This Weeks Must Watch: James Franco and Seth Rogan are incredibly funny. Have all of you seen/heard Kanye's new song/video "Bound2"? If you have then go check out "Bound3" by James and Seth. You will die from laughter.

Blog Post of the Week: Apparently Urban Decay is going to release the Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette and British Beauty Blogger  and Refinery29 have all the details. Unlike the other palettes, theres more pinks and glitters, which I'm super excited about. Its launching December (my birthday month!!).

October Favorites

October is coming to a close, which means that winter is almostttt here! Before we start talking about how much I love winter, here are some products I've loved this month.
L'Oréal Total Repair 5- My hair is literally dead. Flat ironing, over washing, curling, sun damage, you name it I got it. Once I started using this shampoo and conditioner (plus the hair mask), my hair has grown stronger and softer than before. Not only does it repair your hair, but it smells really good, which is always good.
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish- The skin finish is usually used as a highlighter, but I use it as a glitery bronzer. I got this last year for my birthday and have used it ever since. Its amazing for any season because it always gives an amazing glow to your skin.
Naked Basics Palette- Its an amazing palette. A bit over hyped, but still amazing. Some of the colors are great for neutral looks, which is exactly what I need for school and everyday. I wrote a whole post on it right here.
Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow*- I got this as a tester in the color "No Pressure! Rich Fawn". Its an amazing color and it doesn't crease! I use my fingers to apply it because its easier and my eyeshadow brush didn't apply it as well as I wanted it to. Its a great product and I really want to buy the full size.
Bobbi Brown Face Touch Up Stick- I needed a concealer that I could take with me everywhere and that would conceal everything. Pimples, redness, it covers everything and thats why I love it. It has a yellow undertone so its perfect for redness and its the perfect size to touch up any blemishes. Its perfect for on the go. I'll definitely going to buy this again.
Buxom Full On Lip Cream*- Love this lip gloss. Tingles. Plumps. Oh so shiney! I've been wearing this a lot lately because its a soft shade and looks good with any outfit. Not a lot to say about it, but I do like it a lot.

Very Late September Favorites

I know I know I'm super late. Like super late. But better late than never! Last month I bought a few new drugstore beauty products, just to try out. I also started using my Bella Bamba blush again, but it kinda broke me out so I've started to use it less.
MAC Mineralize Foundation: Legit my favorite foundation. Yes, its MAC. No, it doesn't break me out. Its beautiful, makes my skin look flawless, and I believe that its an overall amazing product.
Daisy by Marc Jacobs: Even though Daisy is a summery scent, I still like to wear a small spritz of it every now and again.
Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara: Its not the most popular Maybelline mascara when compared to their Falsies line, but I promise you its an amazing product. Every single eyelash is individually covered with mascara. Making your lashes look longer and make you eyes look "bigger".
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: Its a good drugstore concealer, because theres different shades for every skin tone, but it broke me out. Maybe its because I have sensitive skin, but oh well. Its a good product, really covers up redness and any blemishes.
Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick in 12: Its a beautiful Fall shade. Bright, matte lipstick that lasts. Because I live in the US there isn't a wide selection to choose from, but this was one of my faves.
Sugar by Fresh: Now that the air is becoming colder and is harsh against your skin and lips. Sugar is one of my favorite chap sticks because it smells nice, rejuvenates your lips and smells nice too!
TresemmĂ© Split Remedy Hair Spray: In love with this hair product. Especially when my hair is damaged. A couple spritzes in my damp hair after I take a shower. After a couple of days my hair feels stronger and softer.
Bella Bamba Blush by Benefit: Everyone loves Benefit products and yes, I'm one of them. I like how they look (the packaging and on your face) and their smell, but the thing is that Benefit breaks me out. It's weird because everyone that I know that wears Benefit makeup, has never broken out from one of their products. I wonder why. Other than that I wish I could wear it all the time, but its not the greatest for my skin type.
Wet n' Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow Palette in Comfort Zone: I don't wear a lot of eyeshadow, but I really want to start. I thought the best thing for me to do is to put a light layer of natural eyeshadow, so that I can familiarize myself and then over time use other colors. This palette has two different types of "natural" eyeshadow shades, but I only use the bronzier side. I don't like the green shadow color, so I'm staying away from that. Other than the colors, the product is overall really good for a drugstore product and I'm really happy with it.

On Thursday, my friend Jake and I went into the city (San Francisco) to tour around and act like tourists. We toured through the business district, through market street, and ended in Fishermans Wharf. It was a beautiful day out in SF. My Beauty Empties

Don't you just hate it when you finish up your products?! I know I do. One thing about finishing up a product that you really liked is that you can back and buy more!

Clinique Moisture Surge Intense- It was an amazing buy. Literally lasted 3 months because a little goes a long long way. Of course this product is for super dry skin, but Clinique has many other moisturizers for any skin type. I used this moisturizer particularly in the summer because the weather is dryer here in Cali.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel- I've had this moisturizer for about a year or so and I finally run out. Like the Moisture Surge, it is for more dry skin, but there is a lotion based moisturizer as well. I use 2 small pumps of this every morning and every night. It keeps my skin moisturized and happy!

Cover Girl Lash Blast Mascara- Yes, this is a drug store mascara, but it's one of the best. The brush lengthened each of my eyelashes individually, which of course is what you want your mascara to do! I'm so sad that I finished this product, but I'm definitely buying this again.

Tresesme Curl Care- On the days that I want to wear my curly, I always use this product. It tightens my curls without making my hair feel hard and gross. Another plus is that it smells amazing.

MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation- Now that I know I have dry skin, I stopped using my powder foundation from MAC. From the start, the foundation would wear off throughout the day, which was definitely a turn off. It would also make my skin look very cakey and gross which was another turn off. I'm not buying that again!

Drive to Berkeley

Hey Girlies! Yesterday my family and I went to Berkeley just to hang out somewhere new. We ate at this amazing cafe that had a bunch of amazing pizzas, salads, pastas and more. The food was absolutely delish! We then walked around, stopping at some interesting stores, stopped to look around UC Berkeley, which has such an amazing campus, walked some more till we made a full circle back to the car. It was a cutesy day, I tried talking my family into pretending to be tourists from Europe or something, but it didn't really stick... oh well.

What's In My Bag?

DSCN3978

What's in my bag you guys may ask? Well its a whole jumble of stuff, mostly lip glosses and lipsticks for when I'm on the go (duhhh). My bag is from Forever 21, I bought it just a few weeks ago with a friend. Its a cute briefcase kinda bag, you know what I'm talking about. My Coach wallet was a gift from a close friend that I got for my birthday. I keep all my money and credit cards in there. Of course I have my iPhone 4 and earphones. The thing about this purse is that its smaller than I'm use to. I usually have larger bags that I can fit magazines, books and all the other useless items that I need for the day, but this bag is more fashionable and goes with literally everything. Its classic and I'm super happy with it. Tell me whats in your bag?
xx Leehe

April Favorites

Perfume- Daisy by Marc Jacobs
Daisy by Marc Jacobs is the ultimate spring perfume. Each spray is sweet and light, but also lasts all day. You cant go wrong with this perfume.

Moisturizer- Clinique Moister Surge
Moister Surge by Clinique is for very dry skin types. I usually put this on every morning after I was my face and every night after I take a shower. Its a very "wet" moisturizer, but it really helps bring moister back to your skin. I really recommend this product for people with dry skin like me.
