Bumble & Bumble Curling Cream- Like all B&B products, it does exactly what it says. My normal hair is super curly/wavy and when I use this product each curl is more defined. Anyone who has curly hair that they cant control should definitely try this product. 

  

Revlon Parfumerie "Bordeaux" Nail Polish-  This is a new nail polish from Revlon's Parfumerie collection. Each polish based on its color has a different smell (isn't that cool?!). I bought the "Bordeaux" shade, which is a dark purplish red, the color of wine. And guess what, it smells like wine too! Its beautiful on, you need two or more coats to really see the color, but other than that its a really nice polish. Read a little blurb here.

Living Proof Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream*- I've heard a lot about living proof and how great it was for you hair, so I was excited to see how great it was. I started using it before I straightened my hair and it really worked. I left it straight for a couple of days and it kept it straight and sleek for up to 3 days. 

Urban Decay B6 Complexion Corrector Spray*- My sample of Urban Decay B6 complexion corrector spray literally saved my life. I spray it on my face before I go to bed and right before I do my make up. The B6 is used to soak up oils in your face that we don't need. It also minimizes your pores and reduces redness of your skin, which is exactly what I need. Once I finish this sample, I'm going straight to Sephora to buy the real size bottle!  

NARS Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella- I love matte lipstick and when I finally bought the NARS Matte Lip Pencil, I was in love. It doesn't smudge, the color range is perfect, and its easy to apply! Now that its the holiday season, its alright to wear bright red lipstick and not get judged. 

Buxom Lash Waterproof Mascara*-  If you haven't tried Buxom mascara then your really missing out. Its perfect for lengthening and defining your lashes. Its an overall amazing product, it cant go wrong. I've used it a lot this month and I was really happy with it.

October Favorites

October is coming to a close, which means that winter is almostttt here! Before we start talking about how much I love winter, here are some products I've loved this month.
L'Oréal Total Repair 5- My hair is literally dead. Flat ironing, over washing, curling, sun damage, you name it I got it. Once I started using this shampoo and conditioner (plus the hair mask), my hair has grown stronger and softer than before. Not only does it repair your hair, but it smells really good, which is always good.
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish- The skin finish is usually used as a highlighter, but I use it as a glitery bronzer. I got this last year for my birthday and have used it ever since. Its amazing for any season because it always gives an amazing glow to your skin.
Naked Basics Palette- Its an amazing palette. A bit over hyped, but still amazing. Some of the colors are great for neutral looks, which is exactly what I need for school and everyday. I wrote a whole post on it right here.
Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow*- I got this as a tester in the color "No Pressure! Rich Fawn". Its an amazing color and it doesn't crease! I use my fingers to apply it because its easier and my eyeshadow brush didn't apply it as well as I wanted it to. Its a great product and I really want to buy the full size.
Bobbi Brown Face Touch Up Stick- I needed a concealer that I could take with me everywhere and that would conceal everything. Pimples, redness, it covers everything and thats why I love it. It has a yellow undertone so its perfect for redness and its the perfect size to touch up any blemishes. Its perfect for on the go. I'll definitely going to buy this again.
Buxom Full On Lip Cream*- Love this lip gloss. Tingles. Plumps. Oh so shiney! I've been wearing this a lot lately because its a soft shade and looks good with any outfit. Not a lot to say about it, but I do like it a lot.

Naked Basics by Urban Decay

In love love love with this palette. Its a very neutral palette, which kind of contrasts with my skin tanner skin tone, but I still love it. It's a great everyday palette, especially for school. I blend W.O.S, a pinkish shade with Naked 2 (a light tanish color) and Faint (brown color) to create a nice neutral smokey eye. I bought this shadow palette instead of the larger Naked or Naked 2 palette because I don't wear a lot of eyeshadow daily. I usually need something quick, light and easy to wear because of school and this palette helps. Urban Decay does a really good job with their eyeshadows. They're long lasting, beautiful colors that really suit any eye color and skin type.
I'm super happy with this purchase!

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette $27

Very Late September Favorites

I know I know I'm super late. Like super late. But better late than never! Last month I bought a few new drugstore beauty products, just to try out. I also started using my Bella Bamba blush again, but it kinda broke me out so I've started to use it less. 

MAC Mineralize Foundation: Legit my favorite foundation. Yes, its MAC. No, it doesn't break me out. Its beautiful, makes my skin look flawless, and I believe that its an overall amazing product. 

Daisy by Marc Jacobs: Even though Daisy is a summery scent, I still like to wear a small spritz of it every now and again.

Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara: Its not the most popular Maybelline mascara when compared to their Falsies line, but I promise you its an amazing product. Every single eyelash is individually covered with mascara. Making your lashes look longer and make you eyes look "bigger".

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: Its a good drugstore concealer, because theres different shades for every skin tone, but it broke me out. Maybe its because I have sensitive skin, but oh well. Its a good product, really covers up redness and any blemishes. 

Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick in 12: Its a beautiful Fall shade. Bright, matte lipstick that lasts. Because I live in the US there isn't a wide selection to choose from, but this was one of my faves. 

Sugar by Fresh: Now that the air is becoming colder and is harsh against your skin and lips. Sugar is one of my favorite chap sticks because it smells nice, rejuvenates your lips and smells nice too!

Tresemmé Split Remedy Hair Spray: In love with this hair product. Especially when my hair is damaged. A couple spritzes in my damp hair after I take a shower. After a couple of days my hair feels stronger and softer. 

Bella Bamba Blush by Benefit: Everyone loves Benefit products and yes, I'm one of them. I like how they look (the packaging and on your face) and their smell, but the thing is that Benefit breaks me out. It's weird because everyone that I know that wears Benefit makeup, has never broken out from one of their products. I wonder why. Other than that I wish I could wear it all the time, but its not the greatest for my skin type. 

Wet n' Wild Coloricon Eyeshadow Palette in Comfort Zone: I don't wear a lot of eyeshadow, but I really want to start. I thought the best thing for me to do is to put a light layer of natural eyeshadow, so that I can familiarize myself and then over time use other colors. This palette has two different types of "natural" eyeshadow shades, but I only use the bronzier side. I don't like the green shadow color, so I'm staying away from that. Other than the colors, the product is overall really good for a drugstore product and I'm really happy with it. 

Lush Lip Tint

The brand Lush for those of you who haven't heard of it is an all natural, vegan bath and beauty brand. They've got mud masks to mascara. All purely made from the earth. How cool is that?

On Sunday, when I went with my sister and mom into the city we stopped by Lush just to see what all the hype was about. Right as we walked inside, we smelled the freshness of all the different soaps. Literally so amazing. There was a small beauty/makeup corner filled with lip stains, blushes, mascaras, etc. I couldn't believe my eyes. Some stuff was a bit pricey, but in the end I got a small pot of a bright red lip tint. It smells like roses and lasts for a couple hours. Again, it is all natural materials, so it makes you feel like your saving the earth. 

If you haven't been to Lush yet, it's a must see!

Today I got a message from a fellow blogger asking me to check out her blog. I clicked on her link and fell deeply in love with her blog. Voguette Blog is written by Amy, an amazing fashion blogger from France (I may be wrong).  One of her posts was about Dior's new line of make up Chérie Bow. Filled with fabulously bright pinks in all different shades. Just look and see how bright and beautiful everything is!

How amazing is there new Glow-in-the-Dark lipgloss and nail polish!? Its absolutely amazing. I can't stop drooling over how beautiful every different pink and the amazing ideas!! Can't wait to go buy them!

How To: Make Up Contouring

Models, actresses, and celebrities (such as Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian) are frequently exalted for their beautiful, chiseled faces. But did you know that many of these gorgeous women rely on beauty secrets (like makeup contouring) to create the illusion of a thinner, more sculpted face? This easy to follow beauty tutorial shows you how to do makeup contouring in three steps.

1. Highlight

Before using foundation, apply concealer to your face in the following areas: in an upside-down triangle shape underneath your eyes, along the bridge of your nose, and above the cupid’s bow of your mouth. This will act as a highlighter for your face, which enables the natural light to bounce off those areas, making them more prominent.

2. Contour

After applying concealer and foundation, using a matte bronzer or contouring powder (about two shades darker than your foundation color), sweep this darker color across the hollows of your cheeks (it helps to suck-in your cheeks while doing this). Then sweep the bronzer below your jawline, under your chin, and along the perimeter of your forehead. This helps make these areas appear to recede, creating a more chiseled, defined look to your cheekbones and jawline. If you want to minimize the appearance of your nose, you can also use a small brush to dust the contouring powder down the sides of your nose (which makes it appear more narrow) and underneath the tip of your nose (making it look shorter).

3. Blush

Make sure to thoroughly blend all the face makeup (concealer, foundation, bronzer or contouring powder) you’ve just applied with a makeup brush. As a final touch, sweep blush onto the apples of your cheeks. This helps bring the whole look together. Voila! In three easy steps, you’ve created the look of a thinner, more sculpted face by using makeup contouring techniques.

Eśtée Lauder Signature | Tender Mauve Lipstick

So I found this lipstick deep inside my makeup drawer sometime this week. Its one of Eśtée Lauder's older lipsticks but the color is so beautiful. It gives a more prominent pinkish color to your lips but also adds some sparkle which is oh so fun for casual days and even nights out. The lipstick itself is packaged so beautifully but it even smells good. Eśtée Lauder has this signature smell in all their products (the ones I use) that makes you fall in love with it even more. Their products really makes you feel like a girl.
