Is That Your REAL Hair!?

Bright clothes are on this spring and summer but also bright hair. From firetruck red to baby pink! Us girls always need something BOLD and NEW and this season its out with the old and in with the new. I know that I really want to try something new.

Here are some how to's thanks to Seventeen Magazine!

Blend It
White insists that the most important thing about rocking ombré locks is that all the color should blend together really well so it isn't obvious exactly where a color starts! “I hate it when it looks like a candy cane! You shouldn’t see stripes!” he said.

Find Your Shade
Although you can definitely go bold with this trend by creating an extreme black to blonde look or adding a color, we love the look best when it feels more natural. White recommended going no more than two color stages lighter on each level.

DIY Ombré
If you’re trying to master at-home color by turning your bathroom into a salon, White said to always test out a very small section of hair first! Use a timer and color a few strands in the back of your head, near your neck (where no one will see it if it doesn't come out as planned), so you know exactly how long to do the rest of your head for.

Plan Ahead
The number one key to perfect ombré hair? “Placement,” said Kyle. “Use the different colors to bring out your best features.” If you want to make your eyes really pop, start the color at eye-level; if you want to enhance your cheekbones or jawline, then start it there. However, if you have super dark hair, Kyle recommended only doing your ends, since a light color may look too severe.
