Music Monday: BΔSTILLE

Calling all Tumblr Girls!

Do you like Daughter, Passenger, Lewis Watson, or Ed Sheeran?

BΔSTILLE a band from London, England. First formed in 2010, but was first began as a solo artist by Dan Smith. He later wanted to form a band and named themselves Bastille which derived from Bastille Day an event that happened the day of Dan's birth. They started off not so popular with the public, but they are slowly gaining momentum on the music charts. In February 2013, they released their fourth single "Pompeii", which was a chart topper placing number 2 on the UK Music Charts. Their latest album Bad Blood was released March 2013 and debuted atop the UK Albums Chart.

Their most popular song at the mo.

And this is my fave.

Music Monday: Daughter

Daughter, famous for their song "Youth", is an indie- folk band from England (of course). Elena started off as a solo artist, but now are a trio. With the addition of guitarist Igor Haefeli and drummer Remi Aguilella. Their first studio album came out March of this year, but the band have released a few EP's in 2011 and 2012. If you listen to artists like The Neighborhood, Bon Iver, or The xx then you'll definitely like these guys.

Music Monday- BB Brunes

Soo today I would like you guys to meet a French pop-rock band called the BB Brunes. Adrien Gallo, Félix Hemmen, Karim Réveillé, Bérald Crambes are pretty hot if you ask me (but I love french guys). Adrien is the lead singer and also plays the guitar, Félix also plays the guitar, Karim is on the drums and Bérald is on bass guitar.

If you watched the movie LOL you probably heard one of their songs "Cul & Chemise" (thats how I found them). Most of their music is influenced by music punk and rock groups from the 1960s and 1970s and also by  The Strokes, Amy Winehouse, Ray Charles, and David Bowie. Most of their lyrics are in French, but its so catchy.

This is their a song they just released!

My favorite song by them
